Musgrave Relationship Grows
May 2007 - Musgrave SuperValu Centra and IT Providers have just agreed the terms of a new development contract to develop an upgraded MobileData handheld system. The upgrade will improve the end-user functionality of the existing MobileData handheld ordering system already installed in over 300 stores over the 32 counties.
Commenting on the new venture with IT Providers, TonyGriffin, Musgrave Group Retail Head of IT commented - "We were very impressed with the retail track record of IT Providers & the personnel we met. The software has been of the highest standard and delivered within agreed timescales."
Van Sales Application
April 2007 - Following on from a successful implementation of IT Providers new handheld mobile sales system at Clare Foods and Keanes Frozen Foods, the company is delighted to announce an agreement with Lundy Foods of Ballina to deliver the van sales/traceability solution to one of Ireland's most progressive and innovative food distributors.
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Head of Mobile Applications commented - "The company has developed this unique solution to answer the growing need to deliver mobile retail applications. The solution offers van sales, stock control and food traceability. The product has not yet been officially launched yet word of mouth is delivering sales of the product"
POSition Software Upgraded
April 2007 - The company has completed a major upgrade of the POSition suite of retail solutions. The back office ERP system has migrated to a MS SQL database platform thereby improving the speed and stability. The application functionality has also been improved in order to enahnce the functionality of the system based on end-user feedback.
Ian McDonald, Head of Retail Applications explained - "The system is continuously evolving in order to meet the changing needs of retailers. This new database platform with added front-end functionality has been welcomed in the pilot stores that have already received the upgrade."
